Job Title : Special Procedures Technologist

Required Experience:

-2 years’ experience as a radiologic technologist or at least one year of experience in Special Procedures/Vascular Interventional Radiology.

-IR ENDOVASCULAR EXPERIENCE

Knowledge/Skills:
Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills. Must have demonstrated ability to perform and teach Special Procedures exams to produce satisfactory diagnostic films for interpretation. Knowledge of OSHA, DHEC, FDA and TJC standards and regulations. Responsible for safe operation of Special Procedures and processing equipment. Ability to operate standard office equipment.

Required Education:
-Graduate of an accredited school of Allied Health Professionals

Required Certification & Licensure:
-South Carolina Radiation Quality Standard Association (SCRQSA) Radiographer Certification
-ARRT Radiography (R) Certification
-BLS thru the American Heart Association
Preferred Certification & Licensure:
-Completion of an AART accredited Vascular Interventional Radiology Program
-AART VI Radiology Certification
